As you walk in, you can't help but notice Baby Buddha's minimalist set-up, which consists of four private rooms that can accommodate 6 people each, a bigger function room for 12, a lounge where guests can wait while being seated, and a bar. While fairly new, Baby Buddha has successfully managed to attract loyal patrons within a few months.
Baby Buddha's chefs are committed to serve authentic Thai dishes to its clientele. Begin your meal with appetizers like Baby Buddha's crispy prawn pancakes with cucumber sauce, marinated chicken in pandan leaves, and its talked-about tom yum goong, or spicy prawn soup. These merit the proverbial five stars and are highly recommended.
As for the main course, you surely would not want to miss the stir-fried chicken with chilli, ginger and black fungus, fried sea-bass fillet, and prawn cooked in a rich coconut milk and turmeric sauce. With its delightful mix of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors, the dishes have turned me into a true Thai cuisine aficionado.
